Validating content from xml files
xmllint is a command line XML tool that can perform XML validation.
In addition, extended tools are available such as OASIS CAM standard specification that provide contextual validation of content and structure that is more flexible than basic schema validations.
XML itself is a metalanguage to design markup languages, i.e.
text language where semantic and structure are added to the content using extra "markup" information enclosed between angle brackets. Though the library is written in C a variety of language bindings make it available in other environments.
All major search engines use the same XML-based protocol for that.
This means that having an XML Sitemap will let Google, Yahoo, Microsoft's Bing (MSN), and Ask have up-to-date information any time you upload a new map file to your server.[This sample application uses a feature that was first implemented in MSXML 4.0.]This example attempts to validate an XML data file (books.xml) against an XML schema definition file (books.xsd).To validate the node XML file that you created, you can use an XML authoring tool like XML Notepad 2007.Apica - Apica offers flexible self service and full service load testing able to test 2MM concurrent users, through a network of 50 locations around the world.
